This entry-level graduate degree focuses on practical theology and equips students with the skills needed for both ministry and further academic pursuits.

Program Overview:

  • Total Credits Required: 48 credits
  • Minimum GPA for Graduation: 3.0 or a grade of "B"
  • Core Components:
    • 7 Core Classes: Foundational courses in applied theology.
    • 7 Cognate Courses: Specialized courses tailored to students' specific interests within theology.
    • Practicum or Holyland Study Tour: Hands-on learning through practical ministry experience or an immersive study tour of the Holy Land.
    • MA Capstone:
      • Thesis Proposal and Writing: Development and completion of a scholarly research thesis.
      • Research and Design: Structured guidance on conducting research and presenting findings.
      • Thesis Requirements: 25 pages, formatted in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, excluding the cover page, table of contents, and bibliography.
      • Oral Defense: A formal presentation and defense of the thesis to a faculty panel.

This program provides students with the academic foundation and practical experience necessary to excel in ministry or theological research, culminating in a comprehensive capstone project and oral defense.
