Thuam C Khai is the husband of Mang L Nuam-Khai and father of five daughters and a son. He holds multiple roles as President, CEO, Senior Pastor, Military Chaplain, and Manager of Myanmar's Ministry. Before becoming the President and Chief Academic Officer of JBC in 2009 and OTAN Myanmar in 2023, he grew up in Myanmar. He was called to serve as a Missionary to Asho in Paukkhaung, Bago Region, from the Chin (Zomi) Baptist Convention in Chin State from 1997 to 1999. He also served as Vice Principal and Dean at All Nations Theological Seminary in Thanlyin, Yangon Region, Myanmar from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, he migrated to the USA and served as a Visiting and Interim Pastor at Sizang Burmese Mission Church in Catonsville, MD. He then became an Assistant Pastor at Lyncourt Wesleyan Church and Dean at Burmese Bible School in Syracuse, NY from 2009 to 2013. He was called to be a church planter and supply Lead Pastor to Myanmar Christian Fellowship in Milwaukee, WI, and Zomi Christian Fellowship in Syracuse, NY from 2010 to 2013. He is currently serving as the Senior Pastor at Siyin Chin Baptist Church in Laurel, MD since 2013. He also currently serves as the US Army Reserve Chaplain (2011-2023), Marketplace Chaplain (2023-Present), and Maryland Army National Guard Chaplain (2023-Present). He is the founding President and Chief Academic Officer of the Judson Education Center, also known as Judson Bible College, in the USA, Malaysia, and Myanmar (2009 - Present). Additionally, he is an adjunct faculty member at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, TX (2023 - Present) and an affiliated faculty member at Kairos University in Sioux Falls, SD (2023 - Present). He is graduating with a DPhil in Social Research: An Integration of Religion and Society, Omega Graduate School: American Centre for Religion and Society Studies, Dayton, TN (expected in 2025).
